Are you ready to take on a role where every day is different, where you’re trusted with responsibility, and where your skills will be vital in keeping people, businesses, and assets safe? If so, we want you to be part of our new Special Support Unit (SSU) – a dynamic, highly skilled team that plays a crucial role across our operational network.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a high level of integrity to develop within Loomis UK - one of the market leaders in our industry. We are an organisation with a strong national presence and are part of the Loomis Group - a worldwide security sector leader.
Pay: £16.06 per hour
Additional payments of £40 per day when working away from home branch
The role
As a valued member of the SSU, you won’t just be working at a single location – you’ll be deployed where you’re needed most, providing essential support across branches and regions. You’ll be at the heart of our security operations, ensuring the safe transportation and handling of cash, valuables, and assets.
You’ll deliver excellent customer service while securely loading, unloading, and transporting cash, coin, and other valuables between vehicles, banks, businesses, and secure locations. When operations require urgent support, you’ll step in to reinforce teams across the network, ensuring service continuity where it’s needed most.
As part of the role, you’ll be required to work away from your home branch, with assignments typically lasting a week at a time. To recognise this commitment, you’ll receive an additional £40 per day for each day worked away, equating to £200 per week. This position is offered on a 12-month temporary basis, which may become permanent depending on operational requirements.
